As a native Alaskan, Jay Lovestone has always been passionate about the rights of workers and the need for collective action. Growing up in a family of union members, he saw firsthand the struggles that workers faced in the face of exploitation by the bourgeoisie. When the syndicalist movement began to gain traction in Alaska, Jay was quick to join and became one of its most vocal advocates.
